Menashe Ezra

Menashe Ezra - Chairman

Menashe Ezra is a Managing Partner at Gemini Israel Funds, a leading early stage venture capital firm. Menashe joined Gemini in 2008 with a proven track record as an entrepreneur and investor, and with over 25 years of experience in information technology.

Prior to Gemini Menashe was Managing Partner BRM Capital, which he joined in 2001. He led investments in several start-ups, including Passave, sold to PMC Sierra for $300M in 2006, and Oplus, sold to Intel for $100M in 2005. Menashe was Chairman of both companies.

Prior to BRM, he was CEO of WaveAccess, a wireless networks start-up he founded in 1993 and which was sold to Lucent in 1998.Following the transaction, Menashe served as VP of Fixed Wireless Network Systems at the US giant for three years.

Before establishing WaveAccess, Menashe headed an elite department for electronic research at Israel’s Ministry of Defense, and twice received the prestigious Israel National Security Award.

Menashe  holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University.

Eran Barkat

Eran Barkat - Director

Eran Barkat is responsible for all investment opportunities and deal flow in BRM Hi-Tech. He is actively involved throughout the investment cycle, and during the complete company lifecycle.

Eran joined BRM Hi-Tech beginning of 2008. Prior to joining BRM, Eran was Investment Manager and Principal at the Private Equity Fund IGI (Israel Growth Investors). Previously, he was Business Development Manager at BRM Group, responsible for exploring new investment channels and new opportunities. Before that, he worked at Kamoon as a programmer.

Eran sits on the board of Mominis, DoAT and ColorChip.

Eran holds a B.Sc in Computer Science and an MBA from Bar-Ilan University.

Emanuel Timor

Emanuel Timor - Director

Emanuel Timor has close to twenty years of experience working closely with start-ups and emerging technology companies as an analyst and investor. At Vertex Venture Capital, Mr. Timor invests primarily in the broadband, mobile and enterprise infrastructure sectors. At Vertex, Mr. Timor is actively working with the Vertex portfolio companies throughout their lifecycle, from the initial investment and up to and including exit. Among his most recent successes, was an investment in Percello, a femtocell company, acquired by Broadcom.

Mr. Timor began his career at Vertex as an Investment Manager and became a Partner in 2002. Prior to joining Vertex, Mr. Timor was an articled apprentice at an Israeli law firm where he acquired expertise in IPOs and M&A. From 1992 to 1997, Mr. Timor was one of the leading financial journalists for Globes, Israel`s daily business newspaper. He covered the Israeli high-tech and venture capital industry.

Mr. Timor has a B.A. in Economics and an LL.B from Tel Aviv University, Israel.
